The U of M Global Health Case Competition is a unique opportunity for interdisciplinary teams of students to collaboratively analyze a real-world global health challenge with the goal of providing helpful strategic recommendations to move the case subject forward efficiently and effectively. Teams of four to six students present their recommendations to an expert panel of judges.
Graduate (masters and doctoral level), professional, and upper-level undergraduate students from across the U of M who are interested in global health are encouraged to participate. Students from across the Academic Health Center (AHC), and the broader university have and can participate, with regular participation from students in College of Food, Agriculture and Natural Resource Sciences (CFANS), the Humphrey School, the Carlson School, Law School, Science and Engineering, Liberal Arts and more – anyone with an interest in global health solutions.
Applications for participation are typically due during Fall semester for the competition to be held at the beginning of Spring semester.
